Job summary

Kinosoo Ridge in Bonnyville, AB is hiring a Bartender/Server to support the food and beverage team, handle table service, and craft non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages for guests. You will contribute to a top-notch guest experience and operate POS systems during service.

The role requires ProServe certification, cash handling experience, and the ability to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays. A strong team spirit and commitment to safety and hygiene are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in beverage and/or hospitality experience preferred.
• ProServe required.
• Must have cash handling experience.
• POS System experience will be considered an asset.
• Mixology or Bartending courses will be considered an asset.
• Food Safety will be considered an asset.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Strong customer service skills with people of all levels.
• Will be required to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Class 5 license will be considered and asset.
• Quick problem solving.
• Professional attitude with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Self-motivated, and good time management skills.
• Must provide a Criminal Record Check with satisfactory results.

Responsibilities

• Complete and serve food and beverage orders, including table service.
• Preparing beverage recipes, and presentation standards.
• Set up workstations and prepare ingredients.
• Maintain excellent customer service for the best guest experience.
• Assist with weekly inventory and supplier ordering.
• Organize and store goods following FIFO.
• Handle cash and interact machines using a POS system.
• Daily till cash outs.
• Opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with setup for special events.
• Responsibly operate, maintain, and clean all equipment.
• Monitor and correctly record equipment temperatures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment, including the dining area, lounge, bar, refrigerator, storage area, concession area.
• Deliver the highest of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Follow and strictly abide by all regulatory and best practices for food handling and service.
• Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required.

The Bartender/Server, as a part of the food and beverage team, is responsible to support the front of house service, create and mix non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, table service, and maintain an overall best guest experience in service.

• May push, pull, or lift items weighing up to 25lbs.
