Original Joe’s in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Bartender/Server who thrives in a fast-paced, guest‑centered environment. You will lead the bar team during busy shifts, craft beverages with care, and ensure guests have an exceptional, welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.

You’ll mentor staff, promote beverages, and collaborate with management to drive sales while delivering warm, professional hospitality that aligns with our brand values.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending and serving experience in a high-volume setting.
• Previous leadership experience in a bar or restaurant environment is an asset.
• Strong decision-making skills to lead the team during service.
• Guest-focused mindset and commitment to delivering a top-tier bar experience.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and creating a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Support the bar team with confidence and energy, creating a positive and engaged environment.
• Provide leadership during evening and closing shifts, ensuring smooth service and strong guest experiences.
• Assist with bar operations and execution of beverage service.
• Collaborate with the management team to drive sales through beverage promotions and seasonal features.
• Coach and mentor bartenders and support staff, fostering a culture of growth and teamwork.
• Build rapport with guests, ensuring a memorable experience with every visit—from cocktails and cold beers to exceptional hospitality.
• Provide attentive and friendly service, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued throughout their dining experience.
• Take orders accurately and make recommendations from the menu, showcasing your knowledge of our offerings.
