Job summary

1916903 Alberta Ltd. o/a Neighbourhood Pub in Calgary seeks a self-motivated bartender with good interpersonal skills to join our team. The position is permanent full-time with schedules to be determined.

You will set up and stock the bar, prepare beverages, take orders, handle payments, and ensure liquor laws are followed. English fluency and a high school diploma are required, with 1 to less than 7 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for communication with customers and staff.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to less than 7 months of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The candidate must organise and set up the bar.
• Clean the bar area and wash glassware.
• Serve food or snacks.
• Inform customers about cocktail contents.
• Collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payments.
• Operate a cash register.
• Respond to customer complaints or concerns.
• Enforce liquor laws and regulations.
• Prepare mixed drinks, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Take beverage orders from serving staff or customers.
