Job summary

Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Banff, Alberta, is hiring a bartender to provide friendly, efficient service across our dining rooms, theatres, and event spaces. This role supports our hospitality team with setup, service, and post-event cleanup, ensuring compliance with AGLC laws and Banff Centre standards.

The ideal candidate has prior bartender experience in a professional setting, Alberta ProServe certification, and a strong customer-service orientation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a bartender in a professional environment.
• Completion of Alberta ProServe certification.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong customer service skills and good organizational abilities.
• Enjoys interacting with a diverse group of people.
• Capable of working under time constraints or large crowds.

Responsibilities

• Positively engaging our guests.
• Setting up and stocking bar stations and pre-event setup.
• Preparing and serving alcoholic beverages.
• Tearing down bar stations and tidying up spaces post-event.
• Taking payment when applicable.
