The Bartender at Mamaqtuq Restaurant, an IRC flagship venture in Inuvik, takes pride in crafting beer, wine and simple mixed drinks, maintaining a clean bar, and supporting the restaurant team.
Shifts are evenings; you will greet guests, handle POS, monitor safety, and assist with basic food service while upholding responsible service and health guidelines.
No advanced mixology required; training is provided and certification costs are covered.
Established in 1984 to manage the settlement outlined in the Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA), Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) represents the collective interests of Inuvialuit. The Bartender plays an important role in creating a positive guest experience at Mamaqtuq. This position involves serving beer, wine, and simple mixed drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and supporting the restaurant team. The role is well-suited to individuals who are dependable, enjoy working with people, and are committed to respectful and responsible service. Advanced mixology skills are not required.
Bartender positions are scheduled across multiple shifts. While the current shift structure is outlined below, please note that it may be adjusted based on operational needs. Applicants must be available to work a combination of the following shifts:
