Job summary

The Nest Eatery on campus is hiring Bartenders to join a fun, fast-paced team. You will deliver welcoming service, handle guest interactions, and help maintain a safe, positive dining atmosphere.

This role requires Monday–Friday availability, reliable communication, and ProServe certification. Starting wage is $16.00 per hour, negotiable by experience. Training and support are provided to help you succeed. Previous bar experience preferred; eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience
• Valid ProServe certification
• Strong English communication skills to effectively communicate with guests and team members
• Legally entitled to work in Canada without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization

Our Bartenders are an important part of the Nest’s front-of-house team, creating a welcoming, safe, and positive experience for our guests. We’re looking for friendly, reliable people who communicate well, pay attention to the details, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you understand what it takes to meet and exceed customer expectations, and you find joy in continuing to learn and build your skills—with training and support provided to help you succeed.

Availability

This role requires availability Monday through Friday.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $16.00 per hour, and is negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience
• Valid ProServe certification
• Strong English communication skills to effectively communicate with guests and team members
• Legally entitled to work in Canada without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization

Assets

• Previous customer service experience
• Additional training such as ProTect, Standard First Aid, Food Safety, and/or WHMIS
