Job summary

Nest Eatery (Expo) on campus is hiring Expeditors to join a fun, fast-paced team. You will help ensure orders are completed accurately and presented well, acting as the link between kitchen and front-of-house to serve guests efficiently.

Open availability Monday–Tuesday 10am–2pm and Wednesday–Friday 10am–4pm, with 20–24 hours weekly. Wage starts at $16.00 per hour, plus gratuities at month-end.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or fast-paced food service experience preferred.
• Strong English communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Positive attitude and passion for providing great service.
• Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays safely.
• ProTect, First Aid, Food Safety, and WHMIS training is an asset.

The Nest Eatery is looking for Expeditors (Expo) to join our fun, fast-paced team! Located right on campus, the Nest is a great place to build your customer service experience while working alongside a supportive team. We’re also proud to be recognized as Edmonton’s #1 Campus Best Bar None.

Description

Our Expeditors (Expo) play an important role in keeping service running smoothly, acting as the link between the kitchen and front-of-house team. You’ll help ensure orders are complete, accurate, well-presented, and delivered to guests efficiently.

We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented people who communicate well, stay organized, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience is an asset.

Availability

The ideal candidate has open availability Monday – Tuesday between 10am to 2pm, and Wednesday – Friday between 10am to 4pm.

Weekly hours may vary but average between 20–24 hours per week.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $16.00 per hour, plus gratuities at month-end.
