Job summary

Concord Hospitality Enterprises is seeking a Bar & Wine Supervisor for our Calgary Downtown property. You will oversee daily bar operations, coach the team, ensure beverage quality and safety, and upsell to enhance guest experiences.

You should have 1–2 years in hospitality with strong customer service, ProServe certification, and ability to lead in a fast-paced environment. This on-site role offers competitive wages and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, food safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
• ProServe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure high guest service and safety standards.
• Coach and support team; lead by example.
• Upsell to maximize sales and guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws and sanitation policies.
• Maintain consistency of beverage and food quality and presentation.
