Job summary

Stone Creek Resorts is seeking a Seasonal Banquet Server for Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Alberta. The role requires hospitality experience and a flexible schedule to cover weekends and various shifts. You will set up banquets, deliver exceptional guest service, and ensure compliance with alcohol-service rules.

Qualifications

• Ability to work variable schedule: weekends, morning, afternoon and evening.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Able to work overtime.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Event Order, including glassware, cutlery, linen, tables and chairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests throughout the function.
• Ensure all laws and requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages are followed.
• Reset the space after each function to the supervisor's specifications for the next event.
• Provide culinary experience to guests and residents as per our Service Beyond commitment.
• Address guest complaints or issues or escort them to a supervisor or manager.
• Ensure all supplies are stocked before starting the shift and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Work as a team player with other departments to enhance guest experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job responsibilities:

• Following precise directions from supervisors to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Event Order. This includes glassware, cutlery, linen, table and chair setting, etc.
• Maintain all banquet storage spaces in a neat and organized manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and responding to their requests in a courteous and friendly manner throughout the entire function.
• Abide by all laws and requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
• After the function, reset the space in accordance with the supervisor's specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the next function
• Providing culinary experience to our guests and residents as per our Service commitment, Service Beyond.
• Providing solutions to the guest complaints or issues or escort them to the supervisor or manager.
• Ensuring all supplies are in stock before staring the shift.
• Working as a team player with other department to provide great experience to the guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
