Job summary

Stone Creek Resorts Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Banquet Server for Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Alberta, to help deliver the high-touch experience our guests expect at a world‑class golf resort.

Responsibilities include setting up banquet rooms, maintaining storage spaces, providing courteous service throughout events, complying with alcohol service laws, and resetting the space after a function. Flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and hospitality

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience is an asset.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work overtime and on varied schedules.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Able to work weekends, mornings, afternoons and evenings.
• Attention to detail and guest‑centric service.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to Banquet Event Orders.
• Maintain banquet storage spaces in a neat, organized manner.
• Provide courteous guest service and respond to requests throughout functions.
• Abide by all laws pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Reset spaces after functions to the supervisor’s specifications.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a great guest experience.
• Ensure supplies are stocked before shifts and assist as needed.
• Address guest concerns by routing to supervisor or manager.

We are looking for Seasonal Banquet Server for our Silvertip Resort at Canmore, Alberta. A successful candidate is required to work as per the company values: Caring, integrity, excellence, team sprit and financial responsibility.

Job responsibilities:

• Following precise directions from supervisors to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Event Order. This includes glassware, cutlery, linen, table and chair setting, etc.
• Maintain all banquet storage spaces in a neat and organized manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and responding to their requests in a courteous and friendly manner throughout the entire function.
• Abide by all laws and requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
• After the function, reset the space in accordance with the supervisor's specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the next function
• Providing culinary experience to our guests and residents as per our Service commitment, Service Beyond.
• Providing solutions to the guest complaints or issues or escort them to the supervisor or manager.
• Ensuring all supplies are in stock before staring the shift.
• Working as a team player with other department to provide great experience to the guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to work variable schedule: weekends, morning, afternoon and evening.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Hospitality experience is an asset.
• Should be eligible to work in Canada.
• Able to work in fast paced environment.
• Able to work overtime is a requirement.
• Able to lift push or pull up to 40Ibs.
