Job summary

Hotel Arts Group seeks a Banquet Server for SAIT Curated Catering to travel the campus and deliver exceptional hospitality. You will work with the SAIT Curated Catering Kitchen team to ensure the best guest experience possible.

Key duties include setup, teardown, banquet serving, and assisting guests while you handle multiple priorities. Flexibility for shifts, including weekends and closing times, is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a strong team player with good communication.
• Able to multitask and handle competing priorities.
• ProServe certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete setup and teardown for banquet events.
• Serve guests in banquet style and assist guests as needed.
• Work with SAIT Curated Catering Kitchen team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Be prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends and closing shifts.

Do you have a passion for hospitality that goes beyond the ordinary?

The Banquet Server for SAIT Curated Catering will have the opportunity to travel the SAIT campus and provide excellent hospitality service. You will work in tandem with the SAIT Curated Catering Kitchen teamto ensure the best customer experience possible.

Job Requirements:

• Strong team player and able to work with little supervision
• Required to work flexible hours. Must be able to work weekends, and closing shifts as needed.All shift times currently available (daytime included)
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Must be able to multi-task and handle competing priorities
• Bartending experience is an asset
• Experience in a food and beverage environment is an asset
• Knowledge of banquet food service techniques is an asset
• Completing set up, tear down, banquet style serving, and assisting guests.
• Walking and standing are required for most parts of the shift.
• Ability to lift, push, and carry items of 25 - 30lbs.
• Must have valid Alberta ProServe Certification
