Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking energetic banquet staff for events across Ontario. You will assist with food and beverage service, set up stations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest service.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift, and a valid Smart Serve certification for Ontario. Previous banquet or catering experience is an asset. Wage is C$18 per hour, with compensation details discussed during hiring.

• Setting & clearing of tables before, during & at conclusion of events, resetting rooms as needed.
• Setting up of bars for events requiring bar service.
• Polishing of plates, utensils, glassware & service items.
• Being attentive to guest needs.
• Maintaining high standards of safety & cleanliness.

What you will do

About You

• Previous experience in banquet/catering or food services industry as asset
• Food Safety Certificate an asset
• Must be physically able to lift & stand/walk for majority of shift
• Must have a valid Smart Serve Certification for Ontario

The hourly wage rate for this position is $18. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
