Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited in Kamloops is seeking a part-time banquet server to ensure banquet/meeting rooms are set up and taken down, serve drinks and meals, and maintain knowledge of the banquet items.

The role requires at least one year of serving experience in hospitality, with FoodSafe Level 1 considered an asset. You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year serving experience, preferably in hotel conference/hospitality industry.
• Banquet serving experience an asset.
• FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods; overtime as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures banquet/meeting rooms are set up and taken down
• Serves drinks, buffet and a la carte menu items; maintains current knowledge of all banquet items
• Places settings, removes dishes, cleans tables, and changes table linens
• Other duites as assigned

What You Bring
