Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a casual banquet server in Langley, BC. You will help set up banquet/meeting rooms, serve drinks and buffet items, and maintain knowledge of all banquet offerings.

The role requires one year of serving experience, a FoodSafe Level 1 certificate is a plus, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Overtime may be required and benefits are available for eligible staff.

• Minimum one year serving experience.
• Banquet serving experience is an asset.
• FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate an asset.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Overtime may be required.

• Serves drinks, buffet and a la carte menu items; maintains current knowledge of all banquet items.

Key Responsibilities

What You Bring

• Minimum one year serving experience preferably in the hotel conference / hospitality industry
• Banquet Serving experience an asset
• FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate an asset

• Overtime as required
