Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a friendly banquet server for Casino Rama Resort. You will help prepare and staff corporate events, holiday parties, and milestone celebrations, ensuring banquet rooms are set up and taken down and guests are served promptly.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of serving experience in hospitality; banquet serving is a plus. FoodSafe Level 1 is an asset, and you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with

Qualifications

• Minimum one year serving experience preferably in the hotel conference / hospitality industry
• Banquet Serving experience an asset
• FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate an asset
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Overtime as required

Responsibilities

• Ensures banquet/meeting rooms are set up and taken down
• Serves drinks, buffet and a la carte menu items; maintains current knowledge of all banquet items
• Places settings, removes dishes, cleans tables, and changes table linens
• Other duites as assigned
