Job summary

Bingemans in Waterloo Region is seeking a part-time Banquet Supervisor to lead event teams, coordinate client contracts, and ensure flawless execution of celebrations, conferences, and large gatherings across their venues.

The role emphasizes staff supervision, service setup, and safety compliance, with opportunities to work across Big Splash Waterpark, Kingpin Bowlounge, Putt Social, and more. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience (lead larger teams for 400+ guests on/off property).
• Related hospitality/banquet/catering/convention industry experience.
• Able to learn quickly and adapt to changes in setup, timelines, and add-ons.
• Able to work with minimal supervision at times.
• Flexible to work days, evenings and weekends.
• Smart Serve Certified.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving abstract.
• Standard First Aid—CPR level C and AED (or willingness to cert).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients regarding contracts and changes to ensure successful events.
• Organize and supervise staff, event setups, service and bar.
• Direct staff in cleaning of equipment and facilities.
• Communicate and delegate to meet and exceed guest expectations.
• Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

• Communicate with clients regarding contract and any changes and ensure the successful execution of events
• Organize and supervise staff, event set ups, service and bar
• Direct staff in the cleaning of food and beverage equipment as well as facilities, including dishwashing area and staff
• Communicate and delegate to meet and exceed guest expectation for an event
• Able to speak with clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Perform other duties assigned

What we're looking for?

• Flexible to work days, evenings and weekend shifts
