We are hiring banquet staff on a full-time basis; duties include preparing rooms, setting up tables and AV, assisting service during breaks, handling post-event takedown, and maintaining clean storage. Flexible schedule required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service is an asset.
• Team-oriented and able to follow supervisor instructions.
• Physically fit; capable of lifting heavy items and standing long periods.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist banquet team with event setup and breakdown.
• Prepare banquet rooms per guidelines.
• Set up tables, chairs, decorations, and AV equipment.
• Support staff during coffee breaks and lunch service.
• Respond to guest requests and adjust room layouts as needed.
• Handle post-event takedown and equipment storage.
• Maintain cleanliness and storage of linens, cutlery, and dishware.
• Communicate with team to ensure seamless service.
• Adhere to scheduled hours and uniform policies.

Your Responsibilities

Work closely with the banquet team to ensure efficient setup and breakdown of events.

Prepare and organize banquet rooms based on the specific requirements of each event, following the department manager’s guidelines.

Handle setup of tables, chairs, decorations, and audiovisual equipment, ensuring everything is in place before guests arrive.

Assist service staff in setting up meeting spaces and coffee break areas, and provide service during coffee breaks and lunch box distributions.

Support any equipment or material needs during events.

Respond to special guest requests, such as rearranging furniture or adding/removing materials.

Participate in post-event takedown, ensuring proper storage of all equipment and furnishings.

Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of banquet rooms, including storage of cutlery, dishware, and linens.

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless and coordinated service.

Adhere to scheduled work hours and follow company policies on appearance and uniform standards.

Your Profile

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is an asset.
