Job summary

Niagara Casinos is seeking an on-call Banquet/Conference Server to join our team in the Niagara Falls region. The role involves serving guests at scheduled events, setting up service for meetings, and helping with tear-down after events.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of food and beverage experience, Smart Serve certification, and strong organizational and communication skills. This is an on-call position with opportunities to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Minimum 1 year experience in food and beverage environment.
• Smart Serve certification.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) to guests at scheduled events, bussing of assigned table areas
• Setting up service for coffee breaks, meals or bar service for meetings
• Assisting with clean up and tear down upon completion of events
• Communicating with the banquet captains
• Following specific instructions and directions
• Standing and walking for long hours
• Lifting 10 lbs on a regular basis with a maximum up to 25 lbs
• Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
• Working independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
