Job summary

Canadian Tire Bank in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a motivated student analyst to join the Banking Analytics & Business Strategy Support team. You will assist with campaign analytics for credit card initiatives, build interactive dashboards, and provide customer and portfolio insights across multiple channels.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in a related post-secondary program, has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience in programming (Python/SAS/SQL).

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated superior analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Previous programming experience (e.g. Python/SAS/R/SQL)
• Databricks or Hive would be an asset
• Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
• Data visualization development using Tableau, Power BI or similar tooling is an asset

Responsibilities

• Assist with campaign analytics for Credit Card acquisition and performance analysis
• Build and maintain self-serve, interactive dashboards
• Provide customer and portfolio insights across channels
• Develop data visualizations using Tableau/Power BI and enhance reports
