Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking an Analyst, Insights to join their team in Toronto, ON. This role focuses on reporting, data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, process improvement, and dashboarding.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and automate reporting dashboards and data models
• Generate regular reports and insights to support business performance tracking
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness across reporting outputs
• Build and enhance reporting pipelines and workflows to improve efficiency
• Analyse large datasets using SQL, Power BI, or Excel to identify trends and insights
• Perform exploratory analysis to uncover patterns, anomalies, and opportunities
• Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies across systems
• Streamline reporting processes and eliminate manual or redundant workflows
• Design dashboards and visualisations to effectively communicate insights
• Develop KPIs and performance frameworks to support decision‑making

Requirements

• B.A. in Marketing, Business, or Computer Science preferred
• 3+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in retail
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales and marketing data
• Strong foundation in SQL for complex data analysis
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access
• Experience with Knime is an asset
• Process improvement and automation experience is an asset
• Experience managing end‑to‑end flyer and loyalty programs is an asset
• Excellent communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
