Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated superior analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Programming experience (e.g. Python/SAS/R/SQL).
• Data visualization development using Tableau, or similar tooling, is an asset.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the confidence and passion to share knowledge.
• Highly organized individual with excellent attention to detail.
• Solid foundation of relevant technical skills.
• You have compassion for the customer and curiosity about how things work.

Responsibilities

• Use analytics and detection technology to prevent and contain fraud losses across the entire customer life cycle.
• Develop and maintain fraud detection strategies within multiple detection platforms.
• Sustain fraud detection rates and false positives in line with business goals.
• Identify and respond to existing and emerging fraud trends.
• Stay current on fraud technology and industry trends related to credit cards, mobile wallets, and other consumer payment solutions.
• Liaise with and provide analytical support to Fraud Operations.
• Provide analytical support on investigations as needed.
• Collaborate with key business units.
