Job summary

Advance Paper Box Ltd. in Winnipeg, MB, is seeking motivated workers for the Continental Nights shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The role involves handling waste, baler operations, and general housekeeping in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will wear PPE, follow safety rules, and support production by feeding scrap and moving bales to shipping. Strong attendance and basic arithmetic are required; English literacy is essential. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic including add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Must be capable of good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses, and gloves.
• Change out waste bins from the die cutters.
• Pull loaded cages/bins of scrap and replace with empty ones.
• Properly dump cages onto the baler.
• Remove bales from the baler, band, load, label, and bring to the shipping area.
• Clean up baler areas.
• Separate scrap, box, and bale as directed by the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Follow department and company policies and procedures.
• May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
• Aerate printer loads as required.

Advance Paper Box Ltd. is a leading folding carton manufacturer located in Winnipeg, MB, specializing in custom packaging solutions. We serve various industries including food, healthcare, and consumer goods across North America. Shift Schedule: Continental Nights, 7p.m. to 7a.m. (working days: week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat and Sun adn week 2: Wed, Thurs)
