Canpaco, a division of Imperial Dade Canada, has a contract position open in Kingsville, ON. The Machine Operator is a self-motivated team player who will be an active part of our Distribution department in the areas of picking, shipping and stocking.

The hours for this position are from 2:00pm to 11:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for but not limited to operating tray assembling machine.
• Operate tray assembling machine.
• Load machine with corrugated boxes.
• Retrieve finished boxes off the machine and place on pallets.
• Load glue for machine into hopper.
• Experience a plus, but will train the right candidates.
• Forklift license would be a bonus, but not required.

Qualifications:

• Previous or current experience with the Counter Balance – an asset.
• Previous warehousing experience required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills required (able to read, write and speak English).
• Self-motivated, dependable and reliable.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
• Good decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
• Secondary School Graduate or related experience.

Working/Other Conditions:

• Working onsite in a dry climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment.
• Minimal to moderate exposure to hazardous conditions, noise, and vibrations conducive to a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment as required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work extended hours, which may be required from time to time.

This position has a salary range of $18.00 to $19.00.
