Job description

We serve brilliant desserts that are handcrafted in store, with our own craft ice creams and cakes made right here in our central bakery.

As a Bakery Supervisor at our central bakery, you will help lead our daily bakery operations with our small but amazing team of bakers alongside our other Bakery Supervisors and our Production Manager.

In this role, previous experience or education with baking, decorating and/or pastries is a must. Past leadership/managerial experience will be a strong asset.

This is a full-time position with afternoon, evening, morning, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring products are produced on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  2. Supervise and coordinate the activities of bakery staff, including training, coaching and performance management.
  3. Create weekly production plans and monitor inventory levels.
  4. Implement and maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards in line with GMP Policies.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 1-2 years as a supervisor in the food industry, preferably in cake, pastry, or ice cream production.
  2. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  3. Knowledge of GMP and HACCP protocols.
  4. Experience in writing/revising SOPs.
  5. Technical experience in food processing and packaging is preferred.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills are all musts.
  7. Ownership mentality, treating processes and products as their own.
  8. Strong time management skills to understand process flow and prioritize tasks.
  9. Flexibility to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as needed.
