Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is hiring a Tech 2, Bakery-Maintenance at the Brantford, ON bakery. You will maintain and optimize manufacturing equipment in a state-of-the-art facility, ensuring uptime, safety, and reliability through preventative and corrective maintenance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting production equipment, performing predictive maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement. Industrial Millwright certification and PLC knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

Industrial Millwright Certification (433A) required.
Demonstrated mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLCs and frequency drives preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, control systems, and automation systems to minimize downtime.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
Install, modify, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
Support safe operations by following safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
Maintain facility assets, utilities, and non-production equipment to ensure readiness.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
