Job summary

Aspire Bakeries’ Brantford, ON bakery is seeking a Tech 2, Bakery-Maintenance to maintain and optimize manufacturing equipment in a state-of-the-art facility. You’ll minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations through preventative and corrective maintenance.

You will troubleshoot production equipment, perform maintenance, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Industrial Millwright Certification (433A) with proof of certification.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs and frequency drives.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, control systems, and automation systems to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.
• Install, modify, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
• Support safe operations by following all safety, quality, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations effectively.
• Maintain facility assets, utilities, and non-production equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance.
