Job summary

Wonderbrands is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a unionized team of 18-20 technicians in a fast-paced bakery environment in Canada. You will supervise, coach and develop the team to ensure production needs are met while maintaining optimal equipment condition.

The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and effective collaboration with contractors and regulators. A DEC/DEP in electromechanics is preferred, with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance within food

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience supervising a unionized industrial maintenance team.
Experience in a food production factory is an asset.
Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling is helpful.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support the maintenance team to minimize unplanned shutdowns and extend equipment life.
Ensure compliance with safety rules and food hygiene standards.
Coordinate with external contractors and regulators as needed.
Plan crew schedules using maintenance systems and work orders.
Identify training needs and coach employees.
