Job summary

Queen Naan and Kabob is seeking a Baker to lead full-day production, from mixing to baking, and to prepare all baked goods per recipes and standards.

You will handle equipment safely, maintain inventory records, and keep a clean, organized production area while supporting kitchen operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of ingredients and pastry/bread baking methods.
• Experience or familiarity with baking equipment and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and bakes menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Safely operates bakery equipment including ovens and mixers.

Job description

The Baker runs a full day’s baking production from start (mixing) to finish (baking) and is responsible for the preparation of all baked goods.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and bakes menu items according to the company’s recipes and standards
• Safely handles and operates equipment such as utensils, mixers, ovens, and pots and pans
• Complies with prescribed health and safety procedures while executing assigned tasks
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment including removal of waste from bakery area
• Updates inventory records of food and supplies for relevant areas of production
• Maintains supply storage room for production of baked goods
• Performs other additional duties as assigned

Skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Specialized knowledge

• Knowledge of the types and grades of ingredients used in general pastry and bread baking
• Knowledge of methods and equipment used in baking
