Job summary

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation is required.
• 3 years to less than 5 years of baking experience or equivalent.
• Experience in a bake shop setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods according to recipes.
• Bake dough and batters; frost and decorate cakes and pastries.
• Prepare pastry for special occasions and orders.
• Train staff and supervise 1–2 people.
• Inspect kitchen areas and maintain inventory.
• Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
• Prepare dishes for customers with allergies or intolerances.
• Organize and maintain equipment and supplies.
