Job summary

Middle Sister’s Kitchen Ltd. in Canmore, AB, is seeking a bakery associate to prepare dough, bake pies, breads and pastries in a fast-paced shop.

You will frost cakes, handle special orders, ensure product quality, maintain inventory and assist with sales as needed. Requires secondary education and at least 3 years of baking experience, with proficiency in English and the ability to lift up to 23 kg.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods as well as batters for muffins, cookies, cakes and other desserts/pastries; Bake the products listed.
• Prepare icings and frostings according to recipes; Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
• Prepare special orders including dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards; Operate and clean machines and keep work area tidy.
• Organize and maintain inventory; May oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
