Job summary

Synechron is seeking a backend-focused engineer to design and implement APIs and microservices that connect on-chain and off-chain systems. You will build services for transaction orchestration, reconciliation, and event processing, while ensuring scalability and resilience of the services layer.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of backend experience with Java/Node/Python/Go, and solid exposure to Kafka, Pub/Sub, API design, and cloud-native development (GCP preferred).

Our challenge

We are seeking build the microservices layer connecting the blockchain platform to core enterprise systems.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $115k – CAD $125k/year & benefits (see below).

Preferred, But Not Required

• Experience in Web3 and blockchain application development.
