Job summary

RONA is hiring for a Receiving and Handling role in Terrebonne, Canada. You will ensure smooth and accurate product flow by receiving deliveries, sorting inventory, and transporting items to shelves using forklifts.

Attention to detail and safety are essential as you manage deliveries and paperwork. The successful candidate will join a team focused on safety, efficiency, and customer service, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb and stand/walk during shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas).
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)

• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
