Job summary
Myticas Consulting is seeking a hands-on Platform Engineer to build, secure, and operate a secure Microsoft Azure cloud platform through a stable and maintainable state. You will perform technical work directly while reviewing related work for gaps, ensuring security, repeatability, and operational readiness.
You will focus on Azure governance, policy enforcement, and automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure platform engineering and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Azure governance and Azure Policy, including initiatives and enforcement.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps and YAML-based CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Experience with Workload Identity Federation (WIF), OIDC service connections, and build/deploy agents.
Responsibilities
- Build, harden, operate and improve a secure Azure cloud platform.
- Review and implement Azure governance policies and controls without impacting services.
- Develop and enforce Azure Policy initiatives and custom definitions.
- Manage audit-to-enforce lifecycle including remediation and exemptions.
- Build and troubleshoot automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML.
- Ensure deployment processes are reliable, repeatable, and well-documented.
- Configure and support service connections and VMSS build agents.
- Identify gaps, mitigate risks and implement remediation in deployments.
