Job summary

Ateko, backed by Bell Canada, seeks a senior Solutions Architect to lead architecture for a new back-office system. You will coordinate across cloud, container, database, integration, security, and operations teams to align with program objectives.

The role requires a degree and 10+ years IT, 5+ years in enterprise solution architecture, with hands-on cloud-native design using Azure/OpenShift/AKS and strong focus on security, resilience, and FinOps best practices.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in solution architecture for complex enterprise environments.
• 5+ years designing cloud-native and container-based solutions using Azure/OpenShift/AKS.
• Experience with Azure IaaS, networking, security, data protection, and workload portability.
• Proven ability to deliver highly available, multi-site, multi-cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee architecture activities for a new back-office system across cloud, container, database, integration, security, and operations teams.
• Develop and govern the Solution Architecture Document and ADRs to stay current and aligned with objectives.
• Facilitate architecture reviews, risk identification, and governance with standards and project approvals.
• Ensure delivery alignment across Azure, OpenShift, SQL, IBM MQ, networking, security, and observability workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies, issues, and risks through development, testing, deployment, and production milestones.
• Collaborate with business, platform services, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable technology solutions.
