JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Azure Automation Specialist to join a dynamic Data Governance team for a 5-month, remote contract. This role is crucial for the creation of Access Control enhancements, and will focus on setting up Microsoft Purview within Azure and building automation processes with ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workflows, Power Automate, ServiceNow, and REST APIs. Key Responsibilities: Microsoft Purview Setup: Configure and manage Microsoft Purview within the Azure environment to ensure effective data governance and compliance. Automation Development: Design and implement automation workflows using ServiceNow and Power Automate to streamline processes and improve efficiency. REST API Integration: Utilize REST APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems, including generating requests in ServiceNow. Access Control Enhancements: Develop and enhance access control mechanisms to ensure secure and efficient provisioning of access rights. Workflow Management: Create and manage workflows that optimize data governance processes and support the overall objectives of the Data Governance team.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience in a related role (Analysis, Engineering, Development, Automation)
• Experience with Azure Experience with Power Automate and other automation tools
• Experience with the creation of Access Controls in a ServiceNow environment
• Experience performing automation to call REST APIs to generate requests in ServiceNow

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with Microsoft Purview
• Experience in insurance or finance
