Contrans Vrac in Cornwall, Ontario is hiring experienced AZ drivers for tanker work based at our Cornwall terminal. This is a steady, year-round position with cross-border runs into the U.S., requiring at least 3 years of AZ driving experience and willingness to work across the border.

You will operate tankers, perform pre-trip checks, and coordinate with 24/7 dispatch and compliance teams while utilizing PeopleNet electronic logs. We offer comprehensive benefits and a dedicated tractor fleet.

Qualifications

• 3 years of verifiable AZ driving experience.
• Comfortable with cross-border travel to the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate AZ tanker units from Cornwall terminal.
• Complete cross-border runs with adherence to safety and DOT/FMCSA rules.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Follow dispatch and compliance guidance 24/7.

• Open board work: No dedicated lanes
• Cross-border travel: Passport or FAST Card required
• Physical tasks:
  • Climb trailers to open/close hatches (Fall Safe PPE provided)
  • Comfortable with heights
  • Pull/push 20-foot hoses
• 3 years of verifiable AZ driving experience
• Willing to work in the U.S.
