Job summary

CareerBeacon is seeking an AZ licensed propane tanker driver for a temporary ongoing role delivering propane to commercial customers in Ottawa and surrounding areas. Start routes from designated terminals, with 4 days on/4 days off on a rotating schedule and 12–14 hour shifts.

The position includes paid training, safety gear provided, and the opportunity to work on sleeper berth assignments with day or night shifts.

Qualifications

• AZ license with at least 3 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Clean driver’s abstract, CVOR, and criminal record check required.
• Willingness to work on a rotating schedule of 4 days on, 4 days off, including some statutory holidays.
• Comfortable with long-haul / overnight stays in the truck.

Responsibilities

• Operate a propane tanker truck safely and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery to assigned customers.
• Complete all required documentation, including accurate ELD logs and trip reports.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting any mechanical or safety issues.
• Comply with all transportation regulations, company policies, and industry safety standards.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards during deliveries.
• Maintain current knowledge of TDG, WHMIS, and other relevant safety protocols.

Job Title: AZ Propane Tanker Driver

Job Type: Temporary Ongoing
Hourly Pay Rate: $32/hour + Overtime after 60 hours - Payroll only
Schedule: 3-4 shifts per week, 12-14 hours per shift (day or night), sleeper berth truck

This role will support in making propane deliveries to commercial customers throughout Ottawa and nearby regions. Drivers will start their routes from one of their designated terminals in Nappanee, ON.

This role involves extended trips - typically four consecutive days on the road - requiring flexibility, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a propane tanker truck safely and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery to assigned customers.
• Complete all required documentation, including accurate ELD logs and trip reports.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting any mechanical or safety issues.
• Comply with all transportation regulations, company policies, and industry safety standards.
• Identify and address potential safety hazards during deliveries.
• Maintain current knowledge of TDG, WHMIS, and other relevant safety protocols.
