Job summary

Contrans is hiring over-the-road AZ Truck Drivers for our Chemical division. We haul hazmat within a 500-mile radius of our terminal and run long-haul routes originating from the GTA to the mid-west, Carolinas, GA, TX, LA, eastern US/Canada, and Western Canada.

Expect to be out 5 nights per week with an emphasis on safety. We offer a $1000 sign-on bonus, safety bonuses, paid orientation, uniform allowance, and 24/7 dispatch support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years verifiable AZ driving experience.
• FAST card required and eligible to travel into the United States.
• Ability to stay out 5-nights per week.
• Comfortable running open board (no dedicated lanes).
• Able to climb on top of trailers to open and close hatches (Fall Safe PPE provided).
• Able to pull and push 20-foot hoses (70 pounds).
• Strong understanding of multi axle trailers and weight compliance.

Responsibilities

• Haul HAZMAT within a 500-mile radius of the terminal.
• Take long runs originating from the GTA to the mid-west and eastern US/Canada.
• Work on an open board schedule with weekly outs and bi-weekly payroll.

We are hiring professional over the road, cross border company AZ Truck Drivers for our Chemical division.

We haul HAZMAT out of the GTA and deliver within a 500-mile radius of our terminal.These are longer runs, and generally out all week. Head hauls originate from the GTA delivering to the mid-west, Carolina’s, GA, TX, LA, eastern U.S./Canada, and Western Canada.

Driver Requirements

• Minimum 5 years verifiable AZ driving experience
