Job summary

Canam in Mississauga, Canada is hiring for a full-time truck driver. The role requires a Class A (AZ) license, a clean CVOR, and 2–3 years of flatbed experience to safely haul steel products across North America.

You will follow dispatch instructions, complete e-logs and reports, and comply with safety policies. The position emphasizes timely deliveries, strong customer service, and adherence to Lean and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid full Class A (AZ) driver’s license and clean driving record
• CVOR on file or verifiable
• 2–3 years of flatbed trucking experience
• Experience with chaining steel cargo and cargo securement laws
• Ability to haul oversize/over-length loads (~100 ft)
• Ability to read and write English; willing to train as required
• Physical ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs

• Verify and complete required documentation, e-logs and reports.

• Practice good housekeeping including 5S and time management in the performance of daily duties.
• Comply with all legislated and company Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and LEAN policies, procedures and Programs.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Position requires full class A truck license (AZ driver’s license).
• Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR.
• 2-3 years experience in driving flatbed trucks.
• Experience with chaining of steel products and cargo securement law.
• Ability to haul oversized/over-length loads of approximately 100 feet is required.
• Ability to communicate, read and write in English is a must and willingness to engage in training as required.
• Physical ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs is also required.

Additional Information

Pay rate: $30.97 to $34.20 per hour
