Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking an AZ-licensed Tractor Trailer Driver in Ontario to operate a tractor-trailer on a defined route, hauling open top/walking floor wood trailers between sites.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report loads, and ensure all wood is unloaded before dumping. The role requires a valid AZ license, clean abstracts, and a minimum of three years' heavy-vehicle experience, with reliable attendance and flexibility for early starts and overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (AZ) with a clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience (or completion of an accredited truck driving school program).
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy commercial collection vehicles and hydraulic packer systems.
• Ability to satisfy all safety-sensitive operational standards.
• Strong attendance record and flexibility to support early morning start schedules and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer truck on assigned route to haul trailers of wood from site to site.
• Ensure all wood is emptied out of the trailer when dumping a load.
• Provide CSR with each trailer number after the load is dumped and net weight.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections and reports, daily truck report, route sheets and other documentation requested by supervisor daily.
• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor immediately.

Requirements:
