CFT Recycling in Ottawa, ON is seeking a Roll-Off Truck Driver to support our growing, community-focused operation. This full-time role involves delivering, swapping, and dumping roll-off bins across the Ottawa region, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will represent us professionally on every job site and maintain open communication with dispatch. The position offers training in roll-off truck operation, a wage of $30.00/hour plus a $2/hour safety and performance bonus, and

Qualifications

• AZ license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Clean driver's abstract and solid safety record.
• Knowledge of MTO CVOR, load securement, and daily inspections.
• Physically fit for outdoor work in all weather.
• Mechanically inclined with awareness of vehicle performance.
• Reliable transportation to yard and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, swap, and empty roll-off bins at customer sites.
• Operate a pub trailer and manage loads safely.
• Secure all loads in compliance with safety standards.
• Perform full pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and operations staff.
• Represent CFT Recycling with professionalism on every site.
• Keep truck clean, roadworthy, and safe at all times.
• Spot maintenance issues early and report them promptly.
• Follow all MTO regulations and company safety protocols.
• Perform basic truck maintenance (e.g., greasing).

Position Overview:

We're on the hunt for a skilled and reliable Roll-Off Truck Driver with a valid AZ license and clean Driver's Abstract. This front-line position plays a key role in our daily operations across the Ottawa region, helping deliver, swap, and empty bins safely, efficiently, and professionally.

The wage for this position is $30.00/hour. With a $2/hour safety and performance bonus calculated and paid Bi-Weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver, swap, and empty roll-off bins at customer sites
• Comfortable with operating a pub trailer
• Secure all loads in compliance with legal and safety standards
• Conduct full pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily
• Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch and operations staff
• Represent CFT Recycling with professionalism and respect on every job site
• Keep your truck clean, roadworthy, and safe at all times
• Use sound judgment to spot and report maintenance issues early
• Follow all MTO regulations, company procedures, and safety protocols
• Basic truck maintenance (Ex. greasing truck)

Qualifications:

• Valid AZ License for at least 3 years (required)
• Clean driver's abstract and solid safety record
• Strong knowledge of MTO compliance, CVOR, load securement, and daily inspections
• Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Mechanically inclined with a keen eye for vehicle performance
• Reliable transportation to our yard (not accessible by public transit)
• Able to pass a criminal background check
