Job summary

Public Disposal & Recycling Inc. is seeking a permanent, full-time Front-End Dumpster Truck Driver in Vaughan, Ontario. The role requires safe operation of Roll Off and Front End trucks, meeting pickup schedules, and maintaining detailed logs.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, handle customer pickups with a Front Loader system, and transport loads to facilities while complying with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy vehicle experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid and clean DZ driver’s license required.
• Copy of driver’s abstract required.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, dispatch and all employees.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Safety boots required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule with varying start/end times.
• Adhere to safety, compliance and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Roll Off and Front End trucks.
• Meet and complete pickup schedules as provided.
• Drive and operate a Front-End Dumpster Truck.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles.
• Collect dumpsters at customer locations using Front Loader system.
• Transport loads to facilities following safety rules.
• Maintain daily logs and use dispatch/routing systems.
• Comply with Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Environment rules.
• Perform general maintenance and ensure bins are clean and presentable.
• Collaborate with management to handle additional duties.

Public Disposal & Recycling Inc. is a Canadian company that provides full-service roll off and dumpster bin rentals. We are currently searching for a permanent, full-time, front-end dumpster truck driver to join our team who is self-motivated, a team player, has a positive attitude, and can provide a positive customer experience.

Public Disposal and Recycling Inc is looking for a Roll Off and/or Front End Truck Driver to join our team! If you are looking to join a dynamic team with great cohesion, then this is the job for you.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Safe operation of a Roll Off and/or Front End truck
• Ensure pick-ups are met and completed as provided.
• Drive and operate a Front-End Dumpster Truck
• Conduct detailed pre-trip inspections of equipment and assigned vehicles
• Pick up garbage dumpsters at customer locations, using a Front Loader system.
• Transport loads to assigned facilities following all safety requirements
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner while abiding by all company policies and procedures
• Accurately complete daily logbooks and inspections as well as online dispatch and routing system requirements (e.g. inputting weight slips, photos of delivery, etc.)
• Act in accordance with the Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Environment rules and regulations
• Complete general maintenance of disposal bins to ensure they are in well working condition and are visually appealing
• Ensure all bins are clean and free of debris before delivery
• Perform additional responsibilities and assignments as assigned by management

Requirements:
