Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks an Equipment Operator / AZ Driver to support transportation, processing and land application of biosolids and wood residuals. Responsibilities include running highway tractors and heavy equipment while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires experience, an AZ license, and ability to complete paperwork accurately; field duties include loading/unloading and applying materials per site requirements. GFL offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess solid written technical communication skills to complete required paperwork and online training.
• Must have exceptional verbal communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
• Three years driver/operator experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized vehicles to move material between client sites.
• Complete pre/post trip inspections and required online documents accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to GFL standards, Environmental and Health & Safety policies.
• Load and unload trucks; spread material onto mine lands; operate tillage tools.
