Job summary

KOTT Inc. in Uxbridge, ON is seeking a Delivery Driver to join the local delivery team. You will operate our fleet of automatic transmission vehicles, complete loading and unloading at residential construction sites, and ensure safe, timely deliveries while keeping daily home nights.

The regular hours are Monday to Thursday 6:00 am–3:30 pm and Friday 6:00 am–2:30 pm, with overtime in peak periods. The wage range is $25.00–$30.00 per hour, and you must have an AZ license and at least two years of

Qualifications

• AZ Driver’s licence is required.
• 2+ years of driving experience.
• Experience with manual transmission is an asset.
• Experience with roll-off Truss Trailers is an asset.
• Experience operating a Moffett is an asset.
• Experience with oversize loads is an asset.
• Strong communications skills.
• Training with Electronic Logs is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe loading and strapping of materials.
• Drive – safely and efficiently – to and from customer job sites, using the best vehicle for the task at hand.
• Oversee the safe unloading of materials at customer sites.
• Be responsible for the safe operation of your vehicles and report all maintenance issues.
• Adhere to all MTO standards, including hours of service.
• Other shipping and delivery responsibilities as required.

What's the opportunity?

As part of KOTT’s Uxbridge Delivery team, you make local delivery runs to residential construction sites, and have the opportunity to be home every night. This posting is for an existing vacancy within our organization.

Your regular schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, and Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime hours possible during peak periods. The wage range for this position is $25.00-$30.00/hour.

Operate our fleet of primarily automatic transmission new and late model delivery vehicles, supported by an advanced fleet management program
