Job summary

Bird Infrastructure in Newmarket, Ontario is seeking an AZ Truck Driver for our Asset Department. This role supports site deliveries, vehicle upkeep and warehouse tasks, reporting to the Asset Manager. Qualifications

• 2-5 years driving experience with larger trucks and towing trailers.
• AZ License is required.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Clean Driver's Abstract.
• Forklift training is an asset.
• 0-8 Ton crane training an asset.
• Flexible with hours to suit operational needs.
• Knowledge of driving within the GTA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing material and equipment for delivery to sites.
• Deliver equipment and materials to site using trucks such as pickup, 5-ton cube van or a tri-axle boom truck.
• Help clean up job sites and bring equipment back to shop.
• Assist the Asset Manager with tracking the movements of tools from job sites.
• Clean delivery vehicles on a weekly basis (exterior and interior).
• Assist with the cleaning of the Asset Department, shop space and other company property.
• Warehouse duties as required.
• Normal working hours Monday-Friday 6am to 2:30pm, subject to change for operational needs; some evenings and weekends may be required.

Bird Infrastructure, a reputable integrated mechanical contractor with offices across Ontario and Atlantic Canada, is seeking a AZ Truck Driver for our Asset Department. This position is in an integral part of our Support Services team and is based out of our Newmarket, Ontario office.

The ideal candidate will report the Asset Manager and responsibilities will include:

• Assist in organizing material and equipment for delivery to various sites
• Deliver equipment and materials to site through the use of various vehicles such as pick up trucks, 5-ton cube van or a tri-axle boom truck
• Help clean up job sites and bring equipment back to shop
• Assist the Asset Manager with tracking the movements of tools from job sites
• Cleaning delivery vehicles on a weekly basis (exterior and interior)
• Assist with the cleaning of the Asset Department, shop space and other company property
• Warehouse duties as required
