Job Description

The AZ Driver will be responsible for operating equipment related to the position including tanker trailers, van trailers, vacuum units, roll off and b‑trains.

Main Responsibilities
  • Follow the operations manual for the assigned position
  • Implement Regulation 347 and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) policies as presented
  • Complete all paperwork including manifests, driver’s log and any other reports as may be required
  • Complete dispatched tasks in an efficient and timely manner
  • Communicate to competent persons any abnormalities or faulty situations in regards to the process, product, machine, equipment, workplace or other
  • Wear safety personal protective equipment as required for this position, work safely and observe all safety procedures
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 diploma
  • AZ License
  • Must be able to read, write and count
  • Experience on paperwork such as driver’s manifest of disposal loads, timesheets and preparation
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Mechanical aptitudes
  • Organized and must be able to work with established procedures, guidelines and under immediate supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
  • Team‑work oriented
  • Ability to pass a criminal record check and driving test
