Job summary

American Iron & Metal is seeking a skilled AZ Driver to join our Transportation team, starting at 6:00am, Monday–Friday. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of metal materials to and from client sites and AIM facilities.

The role requires a valid AZ license with a clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract, a minimum of 2 years of AZ experience, and the ability to tarp and handle 40 and 53-yard bins. We offer full-time employment, vacation, benefits, and an RRSP matching program.

Qualifications

• AZ driver’s license with a clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract.
• Experience driving 18-speed manual transmission.
• Minimum 2 years of AZ driving experience.
• Physically fit to hand tarp 40 and 53 yd bins.
• Able to load and unload as required.
• Familiar with metal recycling processes (asset).

Responsibilities

• Operate an AZ-class truck to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Safely load and unload metal materials and secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Perform manual tarping if necessary.
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Complete accurate and thorough records of deliveries and any other required documentation.

Qualifications

• You have a valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
• You have experience driving 18 speedmanual transmission (required)
