Job summary

Flanagan Foodservice Inc. in Ontario is seeking an AZ Delivery Driver to service the Kitchener area, delivering food products and completing customer orders with professionalism.

You will operate G/DZ/AZ class vehicles, manage required paperwork, and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction while adhering to safety policies. The position offers nightly home time, a competitive hourly rate, and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR.
• Minimum of 1 year AZ class driving experience.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs consistently; up to 80lbs on occasion.
• Adherence to Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices.
• Able to work 10–13 hour shifts and in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up customers products and orders using a G, DZ or AZ class vehicle as scheduled.
• Move products and verify orders; complete required paperwork and scans.
• Safely operate company vehicles and conduct pre/post trip inspections.
• Provide customer service excellence and resolve issues as needed.
• Follow company policies, safety rules, and WHMIS practices.

Position Summary:

As an AZ Delivery Driver with Flanagan Foodservice, you will deliver food products and order items to our customers to meet their business requirements.In this active position as an AZ Delivery Driver, your day will consist of driving to our customer locations to deliver products/orders, and interact with customers to provide customer service excellence and assistance with resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and pick up customers products and orders or vendor pick-ups using a G, DZ or AZ class vehicle as scheduled
• Manually sort, move and deliver customer products as ordered, including the possible use of a handcart, e-walkie, or pump cart on ramps, stairs or other surfaces (moving approximately 600 – 900 pieces/day)
• Moving products up to 50lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs on occasion
• Complete and verify all required paperwork for customer orders, including scanning as proof of deliver, invoices and returns
• Safely and professionally operate company vehicles and equipment including conducting pre and post trip inspections, completion of required logs and reports.
• Demonstrate a willingness to ensure customer satisfaction
• Follow the Company’s policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance to Ministry of Transportation rules and regulations
• Follow safe and efficient work procedures to meet customer requirements including maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Complete and keep up to date on all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance training pertinent to the role
• Responsible for reporting any and all concerns related to the Health & Safety, safe handling and integrity of all items received, stored and distributed by Flanagan Foodservice
• Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices

Required Qualifications:
