Job summary

GLS Canada in Vaughan is seeking an AZ City Driver for our Vaughan terminal. This full-time, permanent role offers steady day shifts with a start time around 7:30am and daily routes within the area.

You will drive DZ trucks when required, complete vehicle inspections, and ensure on-time deliveries. Benefits include medical and dental insurance from day one, RRSP eligibility after 3 months, and a monthly incentive program.

Qualifications

• AZ license required and valid for Ontario.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Good driving record and valid health status.
• Good physical ability and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and operate DZ trucks when required.
• Deliver goods within prescribed time.
• Perform vehicle inspections before departure and report defects.
• Complete inspection reports after trips.

Our trucks:

• Trucks 5 years old or younger
• Semi-trailer tractors with air suspension
• Air-conditioned cab with air suspension

You will be required to:

• Driving safely
• Drive DZ trucks when required as well
• Deliver the goods within the prescribed time
• Perform the vehicle inspection before departure
• Complete inspection reports and report defects
