Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a mid-level AWS Cloud Engineer based in Canada to design, deploy, and optimize AWS environments for diverse clients. You will blend hands-on infrastructure work with client advisory roles, using Terraform/CloudFormation, IaC, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and security best practices to deliver reliable, scalable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience deploying and configuring AWS resources in production or client environments.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
• Kubernetes experience and secure AWS networking knowledge.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain modular cloud systems in AWS.
• Advise clients on AWS design, architecture, and implementation.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues across cloud environments.
• Automate provisioning with Infrastructure-as-Code and config management.
• Implement CI/CD with GitLab, CircleCI, GitHub Actions.
• Configure Kubernetes clusters and support deployments.
• Design secure VPCs and apply AWS security best practices.
• Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
• Ensure data storage solutions meet client requirements.
• Stay current with AWS services and cloud tech.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and clients.
